Predicted Score: Redskins 20, Bills 6
Washington: It's tough to gauge how the death of safety Sean Taylor will affect the Redskins play this week but teams generally rally and give their best effort in a time of tragedy. I would expect that to happen with Washington playing at home against a slightly inferior opponent. Clinton Portis should have a nice game against the Bills porous rush defense. The Redskins will honor Taylor by wearing a patch on their jerseys and the number "21" on their helmets. With Antwaan Randle El likely out this week with a hamstring injury, Chris Cooley and Santana Moss should be good plays against a defense that's allowed 18 passing touchdowns.
- Start: RB Clinton Portis, TE Chris Cooley, WR Santana Moss, Redskins D/ST
- Consider: QB Jason Campbell
- Sit: WR Antwaan Randle El, RB Ladell Betts
Buffalo: Another quarterback switch for the Bills as Trent Edwards will get the start this week sending J.P Losman to the bench. "We need production," said Jauron. "We need to stay on the field and score. And we're going to make the change in the hopes that we can get started again and play a real good game this Sunday against the Redskins." Hmmm… yeah, good luck with that. The Bills will again be without their best offensive weapon Marshawn Lynch, and may start the obscure Fred Jackson with Anthony Thomas nursing a strained calf. Jackson had five carries for 18 yards and five catches for 47 yards in last week's loss to Jacksonville.
- Start: N/A
- Consider: RB Fred Jackson
- Sit: QB Trent Edwards, WR Peerless Price, WR Josh Reed, RB, Marshawn Lynch, WR Lee Evans, TE Michael Gaines
