Predicted Score: Patriots 34, Ravens 10
Baltimore: The Ravens have dumped their last five, have played without tight end Todd Heap most of the season, and have lacked consistent play from the quarterback position. The result: 4-7. Kyle Boller will steer the ship Monday night against the mighty Patriots and could post some decent fantasy numbers in garbage time along with wide receiver Derrick Mason but don't think for a minute the Ravens can pull an "Eagles" and keep this game close into the second half… they can't. It's hard not to recommend Willis McGahee as he's been on of the more consistent fantasy running backs this season but I can't see him posting any kind of significant yardage totals. A goaline score is your best bet.
- Start: RB Willis McGahee, WR Derrick Mason,
- Consider: QB Kyle Boller
- Sit: TE Todd Heap WR Mark Clayton, WR Demetrius Williams
New England: The Patriots got their toughest test of the season last week as the Eagles came within 4 points of ending the thought of a perfect season. The defense gave up 345 yards to A.J. Feeley last week, but should have an easier time controlling Kyle Boller and the 21st ranked passing offense. By now, you know the drill… start the Patriots passing game (Brady, Moss, Welker, Stallworth) but keep Maroney and the runners on your bench. They are too inconsistent and Belicheck has no reason to use them.
- Start: QB Tom Brady, WR Randy Moss, WR Wes Welker, WR Donte Stallworth
Consider:TE Ben Watson, Patriots D/ST
- Sit: RB Laurence Maroney, RB Sammy Morris
