Predicted Score: Jets 17, Dolphins 3
Miami: Facing the 2-9 Jets could be the best chance for the Dolphins to get a win this season but looking at the schedule, what drama it would be coming into Week 17 and getting a win against the lowly Chiefs. So, let's not ruin the fun by predicting a win here. The Dolphins battled the Steelers to a 3-0 loss in the slop last week and again lost another running back to injury. The Ricky Williams comeback lasted all of two quarters before he exited with a torn chest muscle. His season is done and with Jesse Chatman battling ankle and neck injuries you may see Patrick Cobbs splitting carries with Chatman in this snoozer. I'm usually tickled pink at the thought of watching a meaningless football game but this one is going to take all my strength.

New York Jets: The Jets are coming off a blowout loss to the Cowboys (34-3) Thanksgiving Day and only the stigma of losing the winless Dolphins will propel them to get motivated for this game. Amazingly Thomas Jones has started every game at running back but has yet to score a touchdown. The numbers have me extremely worried that Miami could get its first win. The Jets are 0-5 on the road this year, rank 31st in passing offense and 26th in scoring. So, where's the light at the end of the tunnel… the Jets are 6-3 against Miami over the last nine games. J - E - T - S… Jets! Jets! Jets!
