Predicted Score: Seahawks 23, Ravens 17
Baltimore: Booooo! Shame on the Ravens for giving Miami their only win and spoiling the Dolphins bid for a perfect season. For that display, I will not pick the Ravens to be victorious in either of their last two games including this contest against the Seahawks. Although who really thinks Baltimore can win a game with Troy Smith starting at quarterback and a defense that's packed it in ever since Baltimore's loss to the Patriots? Not me. McGahee and Mason are still worthy of your starting lineup although Mason's value takes a hit if Boller misses this game due to lingering effects of a concussion. The Ravens have lost eight straight games.
- Start: RB Willis McGahee, WR Derrick Mason
- Consider: QB Kyle Boller
- Sit: TE Todd Heap, WR Mark Clayton, WR Demetrius Williams
Seattle: The Seahawks have nothing to play for and they sure played the part last week losing 13-10 to bad Carolina team. Fortunately, Seattle returns home this week to face the Ravens who are decimated with injuries especially on defense, so much so that even the Seattle running game may kick it in gear… OK, maybe not. "We didn't run worth a lick," Holmgren said. "We're going to keep trying. But to think we're all of a sudden going to become this power running team, I think it's a little foolish." It looks like Hasselbeck and the receivers are the play this week, as usual, although none stick out above the crowd. Branch and Engram are your best options.
- Start: QB Matt Hasselbeck, WR Deion Branch, WR Bobby Engram, K Josh Brown
- Consider: Seahawks D/ST
- Sit: RB Shaun Alexander, RB Maurice Morris, WR Nate Burleson, TE Marcus Pollard
