Game Preview

Predicted Score: Chargers 24, Broncos 17
Denver: After being eliminated from the playoffs last week, the Broncos are likely to come out flat in this game, playing catch-up from the first quarter on. A nice scenario for the only real fantasy star on the team, WR Brandon Marshall, who has 21 catches in the last two games. Marshall will no doubt be a high wide receiver in fantasy drafts next season. He has back-to-back 100-yd games and 29 targets the last two weeks. The rushing duties were split last week between Henry (10 carries) and Young (8 carries) neither were effective rushing for 61 yards combined.
- Start: WR Brandon Marshall
- Consider: TE Tony Scheffler, K Jason Elam, QB Jay Cutler
- Sit: RB Travis Henry, WR Brandon Stokley, WR Javon Walker, TE Daniel Graham
San Diego: Despite weak play from the quarterback position, the Chargers have clinched the AFC West and need another victory to move into the #3 playoff seed. San Diego is on a four-game winning streak thanks in part to LaDainian Tomlinson who seems to be regaining his form as the top fantasy back in the league. Tomlinson's rushed for at least 116 yards the last three weeks reaching the endzone 6 times. He did sit out the second half last week after tweaking his hamstring but is expected to play. The Chargers dominated the Broncos 41-3 back in Week 3 and while I don't expect a repeat blowout this game could get out of control in the fourth quarter.
- Start: RB LaDainian Tomlinson, TE Antonio Gates
- Consider: QB Philip Rivers
- Sit: WR Vincent Jackson WR Craig Davis, Chargers D/ST
