Predicted Score: Packers 27, Bears 16
Green Bay: The Pack are looking for revenge, suffering their only home loss to the Bears (20-27) in Week 5 and now have an opportunity to grab the top seed in the NFC playoffs with Dallas losing to Philadephia last week. The Cowboys still holds the tiebreaker over Green Bay but one stumble by the boys in Big-D could mean home-field advantage for Favre and Co. throughout the playoffs. A couple of numbers for you… Brett Favre became NFL's all-time leading passer last week (61,405 yards) and wide receiver Greg Jennings has a touchdown catch in 10 of his last 12 games.
- Start: QB Brett Favre, WR Greg Jennings, WR Donald Driver, Packers D/ST, TE Donald Lee, RB Ryan Grant, K Mason Crosby
- Consider: N/A
- Sit: WR James Jones, RB Vernand Morency
Chicago: After giving it their all against the Vikings Monday night and coming up short, the Bears welcome one of the best teams in the league to Soldier Field this weekend. Kyle Orton made his 2007 debut last week looking rusty and inexperienced throwing for 184 yards and 1 INT. What's notable is the lack of catches from wide receivers Bernard Berrian (2) and Muhsin Muhammad (2) as Orton routinely looked for the short passes underneath or to running back Adrian Peterson out of the backfield. Peterson had his worst rushing performance of the season since taking over the starting job… nine carries for 26 yards. This week should be just as bad for Peterson and the entire Bears offense.
- Start: Bears D/ST
- Consider: RB Adrian Peterson, WR Bernard Berrian, K Robbie Gould
- Sit: QB Kyle Orton, TE Desmond Clark, WR Muhsin Muhammad, WR Devin Hester, TE Greg Olsen
