Game Preview

Predicted Score: Patriots 27, Dolphins 10
New England: Laurence Maroney owners got some mileage out of their over-priced pick last week. Apparently foul weather reminded Belichick that he can run the ball with some success as Maroney carried it 26 times for 104 yds and 1 TD against the Jets. Don't be shocked if Maroney cracks the 20-carry number again this week as the weather isn't likely to turn balmy anytime soon in the Northeast. Tight End Ben Watson missed last week's game with an ankle injury but is participating in practice this week however he will likely be a gametime decision.
- Start: QB Tom Brady, WR Randy Moss, WR Wes Welker, WR Donte Stallworth
- Consider: RB Laurence Maroney, Patriots D/ST
- Sit: TE Ben Watson, RB Sammy Morris
Miami: Congratulations to the Dolphins for the getting their first win of the season last week against Baltimore and spoiling the 14-0 / 0-14 matchup I was so yearning for. How nice would it have been to see the Dolphins get their first win of the season against the Patriots, spoiling New England's bid for a perfect season in the process? Ohh, well. As it is, Miami will do their best to grab win number two against the best team in the league… a team that beat them 49-28 earlier this season. Good luck with that.
- Start: N/A
- Consider: QB Cleo Lemon, RB Sam Gado
- Sit: TE David Martin WR Marty Booker, WR Ted Ginn, RB Ronnie Brown, K Jay Feeley
