Predicted Score: Giants 14. Bills 13
New York Giants: This is an intriguing game in many respects as Buffalo is playing a spoiler role while the Giants are still alive for a playoff berth. However the Giants (9-5) appear more like a 5-9 team that can play down to their opponents level in any given week. Such is the case last week against the Redskins who dominated New York 22-10, a game that could have secured the Giants a post-season bid. The Giants are 6-1 on the road and should be primed and ready, as losing to the Bills might make next week's game against New England a must-win to make the playoffs.
- Start: RB Brandon Jacobs, WR Amani Toomer, WR Plaxico Burress
- Consider: QB Eli Manning, TE Kevin Boss
- Sit: TE Jeremy Shockey Giants D/ST, RB Derrick Ward, WR Steve Smith
Buffalo: The Bills also have struggled offensively lately, scoring 17 or fewer points in five of the last six games and couldn't muster even a field goal against Cleveland last week. Alright, so the blizzard might have had something to do with it, but the Bills are ranked 30th in offense for a reason. Rookie Trent Edwards is learning his way around the league and while he shows flashes of brilliance the learning curve is still steep for QBs in this league. Lynch has regained his duties as the main running back (21 carries last week) and remains the only viable fantasy options on the Bills roster.
- Start: RB Marshawn Lynch
- Consider: WR Lee Evans
- Sit: QB Trent Edwards, TE Robert Royal, RB Fred Jackson, WR Peerless Price, WR Josh Reed
