Predicted Score: Browns 27, Jets 14
New York Jets: The Jets are mired in a pitiful season but took a deep breath last week and beat the lowly Dolphins 40-13. You can't play Miami every week and while the Browns will not be mistaken for the Patriots, they certainly pose a bigger challenge than the fish. Laveranues Coles gutted through an ankle injury last week but and isn't getting any better. He's been limited in practice this week and will be a gametime decision. Of note, running back Thomas Jones got his first touchdown of the season last week…. Whoo Hooo!
- Start: N/A
- Consider: WR Laveranues Coles, RB Thomas Jones, WR Brad Smith, TE Chris Baker
- Sit: WR Jerricho Cotchery RB Leon Washington
Cleveland: Despite losing the Cardinals last week the Browns have a decent shot to make the playoffs thanks to their remaining schedule. The Jets, Bills, Bengals, and 49ers await Cleveland over the next four weeks and while a 3-1 finish should get them in with ease, they'll need to cut down on mistakes and penalties to end up 10-6. Derek Anderson is coming off a nice fantasy game (300 yds, 2 TDs) but really struggling throughout the day completing 50% of his passes and throwing 32 picks. The Jets have performed fairly well against QBs this season but Jamal Lewis should post some numbes against the Jets run defense that's allowed 11 rushing touchdowns on the season.
- Start: WR Braylon Edwards, TE Kellen Winslow, RB Jamal Lewis
- Consider: QB Derek Anderson
- Sit: WR Joe Jurevicius
