Predicted Score: Bengals 31, Rams 27
St. Louis: The potential for a high-scoring game is here with a couple of teams heavy on offense and both lacking on defense. The Benglas rank 29th against the pass which bodes well for Marc Bulger who is expected to return from a concussion barring any side effects in practice this week. "I think he's a lot better," St. Louis coach Scott Linehan said. "He seemed very much himself this weekend and again I am hopeful." Torry Holt is coming off his best game of the season (135 yds, 1 TD) as is Steven Jackson (167 total yds, 1 TD)… both should be good plays again this week.
- Start: QB Marc Bulger, RB Steven Jackson, WR Torry Holt, WR Isaac Bruce
- Consider: K Jeff Wilkins
- Sit: TE Randy McMichael, WR Drew Bennett
Cincinnati: The Bengals are coming off their lowest offensive output of the season but Pittsburgh's defense makes everyone look Miami-ish, so we'll give Palmer and the crew a pass on last week's 24-10 thumping. Now that Rudi Johnson is healthy Cincinnati has all their weapons in tact and should have no trouble carving up a suspect Rams' defense especially through the air. Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh both rank in the top ten in yards amongst receivers.
- Start: QB Carson Palmer, WR Chad Johnson, WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, WR Chris Henry
- Consider: RB Rudi Johnson, K Shayne Graham
- Sit: RB Kenny Watson, Bengals D/ST, TE Reggie Kelley
