Predicted Score: Bills 20, Dolphins 7
Miami: The loss to Pittsburgh (3-0) two weeks had to be demoralizing and now after getting blown out by the lowly Jets (40-13) can the Dolphins sink any further? With only four more chances at victory time is running out to avoid being a laughing stock in NFL history. Kind of ironic and funny that the undefeated Dolphins of '72 are busy spewing the airwaves with concerns of a potential perfect season in New England while their own team is striving for a perfect season themselves. Jesse Chatman, the only fantasy consideration, continues to be bothered by a sprained ankle and will likely share carries with Sam Gado, Lorenzo Booker, or both. In other words, keep Chatman on our bench.
- Start: RB Jesse Chatman
- Consider: TE David Martin
- Sit: WR Marty Booker, WR Ted Ginn, RB Ronnie Brown QB Cleo Lemon, K Jay Feeley
Buffalo: The Bills squeaked one out over the Redskins last week (17-16) and now face the intense pressure of not being the team to lose to the Dolphins. Buffalo beat Miami earlier this season (13-10) in a game too close for comfort. Fred Jackson stepped in to the spotlight rushing for 82 yards and receiving 69 more in Buffalo's win over Washington. Jackson is expected to start again this week even though Marshawn Lynch (sprained ankle) took part in a good portion of Wednesday's practice. Lynch will likely return next week when Buffalo takes on Cleveland.
- Start: RB Fred Jackson
- Consider: N/A
- Sit: QB Trent Edwards, WR Lee Evans, RB Marshawn Lynch, TE Robert Royal, WR Peerless Price, WR Josh Reed
