Predicted Score: Saints 23, Falcons 10
Atlanta: Another dud of a game for the Monday night crew, but I'll be watching because I'm a freak like that. I don't think ABC had a Chris Redman - Drew Brees showdown in mind when this game appeared on the schedule, but that's what they're getting. Redman will start, as Joey Harrington has been ineffective in recent games, to put it politely. On the other hand, Roddy White has been very effective and one the biggest fantasy surprises this season. He should easily pass the 1000-yd mark this season and notched his fourth 100-yd receiving game of the season last week. That's all the nice things I can say about Atlanta until the coaching staff begins to give Jerious Norwood more carries than Warrick Dunn.
- Start: WR Roddy White
- Consider: TE Alge Crumpler
- Sit: RB Warrick Dunn, RB Jerious Norwood, QB Chris Redman, WR Joe Horn, WR Michael Jenkins
New Orleans: The Saints are on a three-game winning streak against the Falcons and desperately need a win here to keep their playoff hopes alive. Drew Brees should find some yardage against the Atlana secondary assuming he stays away from DeAngelo Hall and don't be surprised if Eric Johnson rises from the dead to find the endzone. Reggie Bush has battled a shin injury the last two weeks but barely has room to run behind a mediocre offensive line. He's become a number two fantasy back at best due to lack of touchdowns and rushing yards but I wouldn't be surprised to see a good all-purpose yardage game from him under the Monday night spotlight.
- Start: QB Drew Brees, RB Reggie Bush, WR Marques Colston
- Consider: TE Eric Johnson K Olindo Mare
- Sit: WR Devery Henderson, TE Mark Campbell
