Predicted Score: Packers 27, Raiders 20
Oakland: The Raiders finally got rookie quarterback onto the field last week. JaMarcus Russell didn't embarrass himself going 4-for-7 for 56 yards. Josh McCown got the start for the injured Daunte Culpepper (quadriceps) and will likely get the start again against Green Bay. Justin Fargas racked his fourth 100-yd rushing game of the season against Denver last week but faces a Green Bay defense that's only allowed one 100-yd rushing game the entire season. As the Raiders play out the string, the Pack have their eyes set on the post-season. As long as Favre is at the controls, it tough to imagine Oakland coming out of Green Bay with a win… not to mention, the Raiders have lost their last four games against the Pack.
- Start: RB Justin Fargas
- Consider: WR Jerry Porter
- Sit: QB Daunte Culpepper/Josh McCown, TE Zach Miller, WR Ronald Curry
Green Bay: How odd was it to see somebody other than Brett Favre quarterbacking the Packers last week? Favre left last week's game against Dallas midway through the second quarter with a bruised elbow and separated shoulder. However, Ironman is expected to return this week for his 250th straight start for Green Bay… amazing. Its important that Favre take the field for a number of reasons not the least of which is backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers may miss a week or two with strained hamstring; an injury suffered during Tuesday's practice. No matter who plays quarterback it should be noted that Oakland ranks #1 against the pass in fantasy points allowed (good) and #32 against the run in fpts allowed (bad). Expect Ryan Grant to have his best game of the season. The Packers can clinch the NFC North with a win Sunday or a Detroit loss.
- Start: QB Brett Favre, WR Greg Jennings, WR Donald Driver, Packers D/ST, TE Donald Lee, RB Ryan Grant, K Mason Crosby
- Consider: WR James Jones
- Sit: RB Vernand Morency
