Conner’s snap share was reduced but he still got 21 touches
and accumulated 119 yards. All three Cardinals RBs had success
running the ball against the Bears.
Just 20 pass attempts from Murray as Arizona ran the ball
34 times. Zay Jones back in the mix but not worthy of a roster
spot at the moment. MHJ isn’t producing enough to be a WR2. He’s
a volatile flex option.
London (2 tgts) left in the first half with a hip issue.
Hodge would be worth a pickup if London were to miss time but
it sounds like London is going to be OK. Mooney thrived with London
out of the lineup.
Flowers led the wide receivers with 6 targets which is no
surprise. Diontae was eased in and isn’t going to take the No.2
receiver job away from Bateman. As a result, Diontae isn’t going
to have much fantasy value unless Zay or Bateman get injured.
Amari Cooper (wrist) was Inactive. Shakir led the wide receivers
with 7 targets. Samuel was back in the mix. The lack of a condensed
target distribution isn’t great for fantasy purposes.
17 touches for Chuba who’s been nice fantasy asset for the
first nine weeks of the season. Jonathon Brooks will be added
to the mix in Week 10, while will likely push Sanders to the bench.
Zack Moss (neck) was Inactive and is out indefinitely. Big
workload for Brown (32 touches) as a result. He handled every
running back touch. We shouldn’t expect this number of touches
for him moving forward, but he’s definitely in the weekly RB1
conversation.
Jermaine Burton was a healthy scratch. He’s not doing the
things Burrow and the coaches want him to be doing. Bengals don’t
have a consistent No.2 wide receiver when Higgins is out of the
lineup.
All tore his ACL in this game. Snap share wasn’t great for
Gesicki (6-5-100-2) but he delivered in a big way. He’s a viable
fantasy option when Higgins is out of the lineup.
D’Onta Foreman was inactive with Ford back in the mix. Chubb
out-touched Ford 16 to 3 despite Ford playing more snaps. Chubb
is going to need some positive game script in order to have any
RB1 performances.
11 targets for both Tillman and Jeudy. The Chargers had a
good sense of what the Browns were doing on offense and the results
proved it. Tillman is shaping up to be a strong WR3 option.
David Njoku: 61 snaps (77.2%), 15.2% tgt share Jordan Akins: 25 snaps (31.6%), 8.7% tgt share
7 targets or Njoku but he finished with just a 5-29-0 line.
Zeke was Inactive. Apparently, he’s not too excited about
coming to meetings on time. A good effort from Dowdle who was
efficient in the run game (12-75-0). He’s a viable flex option
on a weekly basis.
Dak left with a hamstring injury and will miss multiple weeks.
This offense continues to struggle and isn’t likely to be any
better with Cooper Rush starting at QB. Lamb (12 tgts) banged
up his shoulder but should be OK.
With Bo Nix rushing (6 carries), it’s difficult for any Denver
RB to post solid fantasy scores, especially if they continue to
use three running backs. 14 touches for Javonte.
The Ravens continue to leak WR production to opponents. This
week, it was Sutton (10 tgts) who took advantage. He’s the only
Denver WR that can be considered in typical 12 team leagues.
7 targets for ARSB who found the endzone. Jameson Williams
will be back from suspension next week. A wet, soggy game
led to just 1 TD pass combined for both Detroit and Green Bay.
Wilson (5 touches) is now splitting time as the backup RB
with Brooks (5 touches). 15 touches for Jacobs totaling 108 yards.
Brooks being in the mix takes a bit of value away from Jacobs.
Jordan Love was bothered by his groin injury. Watson (7 tgts)
led the team in targets but Reed (113 yds) had the better yardage
day. The four-man WR rotation continues as expected.
Another ugly game from the Texans passing offense where Stroud
completed just 11 passes out of 30 attempts. Dell (9 tgts) was
the only viable option in the passing game.
TE Dalton Schultz: 56 snaps (70.9%), 20.7% tgt share
TE Cade Stover: 35 snaps (44.3%), 6.9% tgt share
Schultz had 6 target (second on the team), but just 21 yards.
All three RBs for Jacksonville played in this game which
isn’t great, especially considering the offense only ran 54 plays.
Just 5 touches for Etienne which is curious.
Gabe Davis was Inactive. Washington (6 tgts) filled the No.2
wide receiver role with Gabe out. It’s amazing the Eagles let
this game be as close as it was.
The Chiefs had multiple long drives which allowed them to
run 85 plays, the most by any offense this week. 28 touches for
Hunt who will continue in this workhorse role until Pacheco returns
at the end of the month.
Worthy (2 tgts, 0 catches) continues to have trouble making
plays. He should’ve had a long TD but lost his field awareness.
Hopkins (9-8-86-2) was featured for the first time. He’ll be in
the weekly WR2/3 discussion moving forward.
TE Travis Kelce: 71 snaps (83.5%), 38.1% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 59 snaps (69.4%), 2.4% tgt share
Kelce (14-100-0) led all tight ends this week with a 38.1%
target share. He now has double-digit targets in three out of
his last four games.
Johnston returned from injury and stepped right back into
a starting role. As long as they remain healthy, the top three
moving forward should be McConkey (7 tgts), Johnston (5 tgts)
and Palmer (4 tgts).
Puka (4 tgts) got ejected for throwing a punch. His ejection
led to a big game from Robinson (9-6-94-2) who Sean McVay trusts
around the goaline. Kupp doing his thing with 14 targets, most
on the team.
A three-headed monster at RB was used. The Raiders fired
their offensive coordinator after this game. We’ll see if the
coaching change results in a more condensed usage for this group.
Waddle has been a huge disappointment this season. His short
TD this week was the first time he’s reached the endzone this
season. He hasn’t topped 46 receiving yards since Week 1.
Akers took over the No.2 running back role this week over
Ty Chandler which makes Akers worth a look on the waiver wire.
Jones had 25 touches but didn’t really break any big runs or screens,
leading to a mediocre output (21-64-0, 4-18-0).
The Patriots tightened up their wide receiver rotation a
bit with Polk seeing just 9 snaps. Douglass led the group with
9 targets but had just a 7-35-0 line.
The Saints lost to the Panthers and the fired their head
coach. Olave left early after getting concussed. If you’re desperate,
Tipton played the most snaps of any receiver but had just 3 targets
and zero catches. Olave is likely to be out in Week 10 but none
of these receivers are a recommended fantasy option given the
state of this team.
You figured Taysom (5-19-1, 4-41-0) was going to get some
work today with both Jamaal Williams and Kendre Miller out at
running back and that's exactly what happened.
Allen Lazard is on IR. The Jets offense struggled out of
the gate but eventually hit some big plays to their stud wideouts
in the 2nd half. Adams and Wilson combined for 21 of the Jets
32 targets. Wilson made one of best catches you’re ever going
to see.
The beat goes on for Barkly (30 touches) who had a highlight
reel run in this game. One of the true workhorses in the game.
13 carries, 67 yards and 1 TD Hurts on the ground.
This game went to OT which helped inflate the stats of the
Seahawks and Rams. 28 touches for Walker who was inefficient on
the ground (25-83-0). Just 4 touches for Charbonnet.
DK Metcalf was Inactive. Seattle has a bye next week. Monster
game for JSN (13-7-180-2) who had two big gains called back by
penalty. He is by far the alpha when Metcalf is out.
The Chiefs dominated time of possession which meant the Bucs
only ran 55 plays. Just 20 touches combined for all three running
backs. Tucker remains the odd man out. Bucky is the preferred
runner.
Jalen McMillan was Inactive. The Bucs were hurting at wide
receiver and had to make it work with the backups. Shepard had
the best game with 69 yards on 6 touches. Jarrett played the most,
but only had 1 target.
Huge workload for Pollard (31 touches) with Spears Inactive.
This isn’t an ideal situation for the Titans and they’ll likely
reduce his workload once Spears returns.
NWI (6-5-50-1) has scored in four straight games! He hasn’t
topped 50 yards in any game but his snap share and usage makes
him interesting in larger leagues. The outlook for Ridley is getting
better but a return to Levis at QB could kill his value.
Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) was Inactive. Rodriguez (11
touches) was used more than we thought which cut into the value
of Ekeler (14 touches) and McNichols (8 touches).
Daniels threw the ball just 22 times. A nice day for Noah
Brown (6-5-50-0) but he’s not much of a fantasy option in 12 team
leagues. McLaurin (2-19-2) scored on both of his receptions.
