This game was 24-3 at halftime and 34-10 after three quarters.
Blowout for Arizona allowed Benson to get some garbage time run.
40 rush attempts for Arizona. Conner’s lead-back role continues
to be solid.
After a dud Week 1, Harrison connected on multiple long plays
and had 4-131-2 in the first quarter. Harrison and McBride accounted
for 14 of Murray’s 21 attempts.
The Falcons run a tight ship at receiver. Outside of the
top three, no other wideout saw the field. A low pass volume day
for Cousins (29 attempts) as the Falcons only had the ball for
24 minutes. London and Mooney tied for the team-lead in targets
(7).
We saw a similar snap ratio for Henry and Hill in Week 1
but Henry will obviously get the bulk of the rushing work while
Hill plays on passing downs. Henry out-touched Hill 19 to 6.
TE Mark Andrews: 41 snaps (63.1%), 16.1% tgt share
TE Isaiah Likely: 32 snaps (49.2%), 9.7% tgt share
Flowers dominated targets (11) with Andrews the next highest
(5). Likely can still be a weekly tight end option but he’s
not always going to see a 66.2% snap share like he did against
the Chiefs in Week 1.
This was an odd game, where the Bills-D scored resulting
in minimal plays (45) for the Bills offense. Likely the lowest
play volume Buffalo will have all season. Hard to have any concrete
takeaways here other than Cook continues to have a dominant lead-back
role.
Only 19 pass attempts from Josh Allen. Another game where
Curtis Samuel is 4th on the depth chart. Bills continue to spread
the ball around. Coleman has played the most snaps of any Bills
receiver through two games but has just 6 targets.
TE Dalton Kincaid: 19 snaps (42.2%), 22.2% tgt share
TE Dawson Knox: 24 snaps (53.3%), 0.0% tgt share
Despite his low snap count, Kincaid was 2nd on the team in
targets (4) behind Shakir (5).
A minuscule 48 plays for the Panthers. Bryce Young threw
for 84 yards… 84 yards! You can’t find fantasy relevant players
with this kind of offense. Veteran Andy Dalton taking over in
Week 3 may breathe some life into Diontae Johnson.
18 touches for Swift but Herbert vultured the TD around the
goaline. Homer is playing a third-down / two-minute role but his
involvement is killing any stand-alone value for Herbert.
Keenan Allen (heel) was inactive which allowed Carter to
see the field. The Texans pressured Williams relentlessly which
led to a second-straight subpar passing game. Zero TDs for Caleb
during the first two weeks.
TE Cole Kmet: 54 snaps (77.1%), 14.7% tgt share
TE Gerald Everett: 25 snaps (35.7%), 8.8% tgt share
Kmet took more of the TE snaps this week as opposed to Week
1. Still hovering in low-end TE2 territory given the struggles
of the offense.
A muted game for Chase which can happen against Trent McDuffie.
Iosivas converted both of his catches for TDs. Higgins may play
in Week 3.
TE Drew Sample: 33 snaps (51.6%), 8.8% tgt share
TE Mike Gesicki: 30 snaps (46.9%), 26.5% tgt share
TE Erick All: 33 snaps (51.6%), 11.8% tgt share
The Chiefs first two opponents have featured the tight end.
Likely in Week 1 and the Bengals trio in Week 2. Gesicki led the
team with 9 targets. Kyle Pitts up in Week 3.
After just 1 snap last week, Foreman split time with Ford
as the Browns were playing from in front all game. Foreman out-touched
Ford 15 to 8. Ford did break off a 36-yard run.
Another sub-200-yard passing game for Watson who has completed
58.2% of his passes through two weeks. Moore and Cooper led the
receiving group with 8 targets.
Goff through the Ball 55 times which led to a whopping 19
targets for St. Brown. Jameson is a locked-in WR2 with these kind
of usage numbers. Tim Patrick saw his first action this week.
This team can’t support another fantasy option but keep Patrick
on your radar in case an injury occurs.
Dameon Pierce was Inactive. Mixon left the game with an ankle
injury, returned, then left again. Akers will have a bigger early-down
role if Mixon were to miss time.
Schultz was on the injury report but got cleared on Friday.
Snap count was fine, but this team’s receiving production flows
through their wideouts. He’s 4th on the target list.
Taylor didn’t see the field in the 4th quarter when the Colts
were playing catch-up. Sermon was the RB. Steichen’s comment courtesy
of James
Boyd on X: “We were throwing the football, and we weren't
really scheming up passes for the RB there in the 4Q, so we had
Trey (Sermon) in there, and I thought he did a good job. I think
we only ran it twice."
Another week with Josh Downs inactive. Given his snap count,
Pierce is worth a look as a WR4/5. He also tied with Pittman for
the team lead in targets (7). This will shift however, once Downs
returns.
Engram injured his hamstring in pre-game warmups which led
to Brenton Strange playing the most at the TE position. He finished
2nd on the team with 6 targets.
7 more rushing attempts than pass attempts for KC as the
Bengals played a lot of 2-high safety. The Chiefs lost Pacheco
(leg) late in the game and will now be scrambling at RB. Carson
Steele likely to see early-down work. CEH may be available beginning
Week 5.
The top three WRs remain similar to Week 1. No ramp-up period
for Worthy as he’s going to be playing a lot snaps this year with
Marquise Brown done for the season. Rice has low-end WR1 upside.
TE Travis Kelce: 59 snaps (90.8%), 13.0% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 37 snaps (56.9%), 0.0% tgt share
A second-straight subpar game for Kelce (3 targets). He’s
going to need to be a bigger part of the offense with Pacheco
out. Can he deliver or is he too old?
It’s alarming that Edwards (18-59-0) didn’t do more in this
game as the Chargers ran the ball 44 times. Dobbins (17-131-1)
is the clear favorite for production even if the two continue
to split time and touches.
The disaster against the Cardinals included Kupp getting
hurt. He is a candidate to land on IR. Expect Robinson, Johnson,
Whittington and Tutu Atwell to be the wideouts for the next few
weeks. This team is on life support.
More Zamir on the field this week which is promising, but
just 12 touches as the Raiders couldn’t move the ball on the ground.
Mattison scored for the second consecutive week.
What a mess. Raheem Mostert (chest) was Inactive. Wilson
left with an oblique injury. Achane remained in the game for much
of the 4th quarter. Achane should have a dominant role in the
short-term with Mostert and Wilson banged up.
Tua got concussed in the third quarter. The game quickly
turned into a blowout soon after. Hill and Waddle missed a big
chunk of the 4th quarter. This offense will be trending downward
with Skylar Thompson at QB.
TE Jonnu Smith: 32 snaps (42.1%), 18.9% tgt share
TE Durham Smythe: 33 snaps (43%), 2.7% tgt share
Jonnu and Achane led the team with 7 targets. Jonnu still
a low-end TE2 option.
Jordan Addison was inactive. Jefferson left the game with
a thigh bruise but not before he scored a 97-yard TD. Impressive
snap rate for Nailor who is the obvious No.2 among the Vikings
wideouts while Addison is on the shelf.
Just 16 pass attempts for the Saints with Olave and Shaheed
the only wideouts to see a target. Don’t need much from the passing
game when Kamara goes crazy.
TE Taysom Hill: 28 snaps (47.5%), 7.7% rush share, 6.7% tgt share
TE Foster Moreau: 47 snaps (79.7%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Juwan Johnson: 24 snaps (40.7%), 0.0% tgt share
3 carries and 1 target for Taysom this week. None of the
other TEs saw a target.
Allen (9 touches, 2 TDs) is going to force the Jets to keep
him on the field with this performance. He should be rostered
everywhere as at least a contingency play if Breece (21 touches)
were to go down.
More volume is needed in this passing game but the offense
moves at a snail’s pace. Williams moved into the third WR role
this week. We’ll see if he takes over Lazard’s spot as the No.2
in the not-so-distant future.
A.J. Brown was Inactive. Expecting him back in Week 4. Not
surprised that Smith played every snap and received the most targets
(10). Dotson worked as the No.2 wideout but only saw 1 target
while Covey saw 6. I’d prefer Dotson on the waiver wire, but neither
are likely to move the needle.
Almost a 50-50 split for time share this week for Najee and
Warren. Harris led in touches 18 to 11. This is the typical scenario
we’d expect to see moving forward.
Arthur Smith is playing three tight ends which sucks the
value out of Freiermuth. Having a 22% target share doesn’t mean
much when you throw the ball just 20 times.
Mason led all RBs with his 80% rush share in Week 2. Guerendo
was the only other RB to see a carry (1). Should see more from
the rookie with Deebo banged up.
Purdy doesn’t appear to be as comfortable in the pocket.
Deebo is set to miss multiple weeks with a calf injury. Expect
more from Aiyuk and Kittle moving forward.
Just 19 pass attempts for Mayfield. Godwin led the team in
targets (8). Baker needs to be in the mid-30s for pass attempts
if McMillian is going to be a fantasy option.
McLaurin led the team in targets (8) and had six catches
but for just 22 yards. Ertz is the only other fantasy consideration
in the passing game at the moment.
