TE Trey McBride: 61 snaps (91.0%), 23.3% tgt share
TE Tip Reiman: 25 snaps (37.3%), 3.3% tgt share
TE Elijah Higgins: 20 snaps (29.9%), 6.7% tgt share
Need to know: Michael Carter (18-51-1,
5-22-0) got the majority of running back touches (including 5
targets) with Trey Benson out. Demercado dropped the ball just
prior to the goaline, otherwise would’ve had a 72-yard TD run.
Trey McBride led the team with 7 targets.
TE Mark Andrews: 25 snaps (58.1%), 15.0% tgt share
TE Isaiah Likely: 23 snaps (53.5%), 5.0% tgt share
TE Charlie Kolar: 20 snaps (46.5%), 5.0% tgt share
Need to know: Keaton Mitchell (3-8-0,
1-5-0) was active for the first time this season. Due to injuries,
the Ravens are circling the drain. To only have 43 offensive snaps
is embarrassing. Awful stat line for Cooper Rush (179-0-3). Flowers
led the team with 5 targets.
TE Dawson Knox: 38 snaps (55.9%), 6.7% tgt share
TE Dalton Kincaid: 37 snaps (54.4%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Jackson Hawes: 20 snaps (29.4%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: This was the first
week James Cook (15-49-0) did not score a TD or catch a pass.
Big game for TE Dalton Kincaid (6-108-0). Shakir led the wideouts
with 9 targets.
Need to know: Chuba Hubbard was
Inactive. Rico Dowdle (23-206-1, 3-28-0) was the star of the week
and used in a workhorse role (26 touches) with Hubbard out. Despite
him working as the No.2 wideout, there’s no reason to chase Legette’s
box score from this game (2-31-1).
TE Mike Gesicki: 31 snaps (50.0%), 12.5% tgt share
TE Drew Sample: 27 snaps (43.5%), 2.5% tgt share
TE Noah Fant: 15 snaps (24.2%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: QB change coming?
It was an ugly game for Jake Browning (253-3-3, 4-31-0) who made
too many bad decisions with the football. He hit Ja’Marr Chase
(6-110-2) on a 64-yard TD late in the game to make his stats look
good. Chase Brown (8-27-0, 7-21-0) is a victim of his team’s poor
offensive line and bad quarterback play.
Need to know: First game for rookie
QB Dillon Gabriel (19 of 33, 190-2-0, 2-5-0). Judkins (23-110-0,
1-18-0) continues to dominate the RB work on this team. Bond moved
into the No.2 wideout role with Cedric Tillman (hamstring) out
but isn’t worth considering in lineups. Best game of the season
so far for Njoku (6-67-1).
Need to know: WR KaVontae Turpin
and RB Miles Sanders were Inactive. Javonte Williams now has 6
TDs in five games. Flournoy (6-114-0) was third among the Dallas
wideouts in snaps but tied with Ferguson for a team-high 9 targets.
Ferguson led all tight ends this week with a 32.1% target share.
TE Adam Trautman: 31 snaps (41.9%), 2.8% tgt share
TE Evan Engram: 30 snaps (40.5%), 16.7% tgt share
TE Nate Adkins: 27 snaps (36.5%), 2.8% tgt share
Need to know: Tyler Badie back
in the mix, taking snaps away from Harvey (4-12-0, 3-18-0). Sutton
(8-99-0) led the team with 10 targets. Rookie WR Pat Bryant (40)
played more snaps than Mims (27) but didn’t see a target.
TE Sam LaPorta: 58 snaps (93.5%), 26.1% tgt share
TE Brock Wright: 45 snaps (72.6%), 13.0% tgt share
TE Ross Dwelley: 16 snaps (25.8%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: The narrative hit
for David Montgomery (18-65-1, 1-6-0) who also threw a TD pass
on a trick play. Nothing doing this week for Jamo (1-9-0) who
played more snaps than any other Lions wideout.
Need to know: Garbage time was
a factor here as the Texans pounded the Ravens 44-10. Touches
were spread out among the RBs and WRs. Marks (7 touches) took
a backseat to Chubb (11 touches). 2-TD game for Xavier Hutchinson
who led the WR room in snap share. Dalton Schultz led the team
in targets with 6. The Texans have a bye in Week 6.
TE Tyler Warren: 47 snaps (71.2%), 12.5% tgt share
TE Mo Alie-Cox: 35 snaps (53.0%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Andrew Ogletree: 30 snaps (45.5%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Another dominating
fantasy performance from Taylor (17-66-3, 3-20-0). The 40-6 blowout
of the Raiders allowed Anthony Richardson to get some action.
Downs (6-54-0) led the team with 8 targets. I don’t expect that
to be sticky moving forward. Adonai Mitchell had his role diminshed
this week due to poor play in Week 4.
Need to know: Just 20 total touches
combined for the running backs – Etienne 15, Tuten 5, Jacksonville
got a DEF TD which steals a possession from the offense. TE Brenton
Strange left the game with a hip injury. Travis Hunter played
25 snaps (39%) on defense. BTJ led the team with 6 targets.
TE Travis Kelce: 51 snaps (79.7%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 36 snaps (56.2%), 0% tgt share
Need to know: Chiefs ran the ball
better this week but are using a three-headed committee. Rookie
Brashard Smith (1-4-0, 3-32-0) is being used mostly in the passing
game. Despite not playing as much, Hunt (7-49-2, 1-8-0) continues
to be the desired option given his usage around the goaline. Kelce
(7-61-1) had his best fantasy game of the season. Worthy led the
team in targets with 9. Second week in a row where Thornton’s
snaps are limited now that Worthy is back in the mix.
Need to know: Omarion Hampton (12-44-0,
6-26-0) left this game with an ankle injury and will be out at
least 4 weeks. Vidal and Haskins will likely form some kind of
committee. Keenan Allen (5-58-0) led the team in targets (9).
Gadsden (1-14-0) played the most snaps at tight end with Will
Dissly Inactive.
Need to know: This game with the
49ers went into overtime which inflated the stats for both teams.
Corum fumbled this week which led to less playing time than normal
for 2nd year running back. Stafford threw 47 times and Kyren (14-65-0,
8-66-2) had a whopping 10 targets! Puka and Adams combined for
23 targets. TE Tyler Higbee was Inactive.
Need to know: The Raiders and Geno
Smith (228-0-2) continue to struggle. Ian Thomas (3-20-0) filled
in at tight end with Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer both Inactive.
TE Darren Waller: 32 snaps (58.2%), 14.7% tgt share
TE Julian Hill: 29 snaps (52.7%), 14.7% tgt share
TE Tanner Conner: 11 snaps (20.0%), 5.9% tgt share
Need to know: RB Jaylen Wright
was Inactive. As expected, Waddle (6-110-1) led the team in targets
with Tyreek Hill out. Malik Washington didn’t see much of a role
change. He was still used on a short-area throws. TE Darren Waller
(5-78-1) appears to be the player with the most significant role
change in the post-Tyreek version of the Dolphins offense. His
snap percentage doubled from last week and he saw an increased
number of routes run.
TE T.J. Hockenson: 55 snaps (84.6%), 17.6% tgt share
TE Josh Oliver: 29 snaps (44.6%), 8.8% tgt share
Need to know: Addison (5-41-1)
was benched for the first quarter. Wentz left briefly with a shoulder
issue but returned. Jefferson (7-123-0) led the team in targets
with 11. Vikings have a bye in Week 6.
TE Hunter Henry: 52 snaps (86.7%), 14.3% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 34 snaps (56.7%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Antonio Gibson (6-21-0,
1-5-0) tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Perhaps
we’ll get just a two-headed RBBC moving forward? Monster revenge
game for Diggs (10-146-0) who led the team with 12 targets.
TE Juwan Johnson: 56 snaps (84.8%), 12.9% tgt share
TE Jack Stoll: 25 snaps (37.9%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Foster Moreau: 23 snaps (34.8%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know:Taysom Hill returned
to his swiss army knife role, completing 1 pass for 19 yards.
He had 6 carries for -1 yard and zero targets. TE Juwan Johnson
(2-17-0) came into the game questionable but played his normal
number of snaps. Olave (7-59-0) continues to get peppered with
targets (11) but his low catch rate and low aDOT are killing his
fantasy value. 11 touches for Kendre Miller, 12 touches for Alvin
Kamara.
Need to know: Dart (202-2-2, 7-55-0)
is going to need this kind of rushing performance each week in
order to maintain low-end QB1 value. Slayton left the game with
a hamstring injury. TE Theo Johnson has 3 TDs in his last two
games. Solid work in the passing game for Skattebo (15-59-0, 6-45-0).
Need to know: The box score doesn’t
reflect it, but Justin Fields (283-2-0, 7-26-0) was awful in this
game, taking five sacks. As expected, Isaiah Davis was the No.2
running back but had just 4 touches. TE Mason Taylor (9-67-0)
is the second receiving option on this team.
Need to know: Hurts had a season-high
38 pass attempts. The Eagles had a grand total of 11 rushing attempts.
DeVonta Smith (8-114-0) led the team with 10 targets. Goedert
had 9 targets but finished with just 3 catches.
TE AJ Barner: 49 snaps (80.3%), 20.6% tgt share
TE Elijah Arroyo: 26 snaps (42.6%), 2.9% tgt share
TE Eric Saubert: 17 snaps (27.9%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Seahawks continue
to use an almost even timeshare between Walker (10-86-0, 1-0-0)
and Charbonnet (9-36-1, 1-12-0). TE AJ Barner (7-53-2) leads the
position in fantasy points this week.
TE Jake Tonges: 63 snaps (73.3%), 22.9% tgt share
TE Luke Farrell: 38 snaps (44.2%), 4.2% tgt share
Need to know: This game with the Rams went
into overtime which inflated the stats for both teams. Both Jauan
Jennings and Ricky Pearsall were Inactive leaving the 49ers very
thin at WR. What a game for Kendrick Bourne (10-142-0)! His 11
targets tied TE Jake Tonges (7-41-1) for the team lead. Sounds
like Kittle will return in Week 7. 30 touches for McCaffrey (22-57-0,
8-82-1) in this game. He has 130 touches in five games, on pace
for 442 touches this season.
TE Cade Otton: 56 snaps (91.8%), 15.6% tgt share
TE Payne Durham: 18 snaps (29.5%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Baker for MVP? Bucky
Irving was Inactive. Dominant role for Rachaad White who saw 18
of 24 running back touches. He won’t be efficient as a runner
but will make up for it in the passing game. Egbuka caught all
7 targets for a 7-163-1 line. Rookie Tez Johnson (4-59-0) was
the 4th receiver this week and had a decent box score but this
was likely an anomaly.
Need to know: Titans got their
first win of the season, beating the Cardinals 22-21. Spears (4-14-0)
saw the field for the first time this season and played a limited
role. Ridley (5-131-0) led the team in targets (10) and posted
his first 100-yard game of the season.
TE Zach Ertz: 31 snaps (52.5%), 4.3% tgt share
TE John Bates: 30 snaps (50.8%), 4.3% tgt share
TE Ben Sinnott: 19 snaps (32.2%), 0.0% tgt share
Need to know: Terry McLaurin was
inactive. Deebo (8-96-1) led all WRs this week with a 47.8% target
share. Jayden Daniels (231-1-0, 8-39-0) did not appear bothered
by his knee issue. Huge game for “Bill” (14-111-2,
2-39-0) who out-touched the other RBs 16 to 6.
