The coaching staff said they wanted to get MHJ going this
week. That amounted to 12 targets and a 5-60-1 line. He’s currently
the WR18 for the week heading into the Monday night game. Zay
Jones again played ahead of Dortch but got just 1 target.
TE Trey McBride: 77 snaps (93.9%), 27.9% tgt share
TE Tip Reiman: 34 snaps (41.5%), 2.3% tgt share
TE Elijah Higgins: 25 snaps (30.5%), 4.7% tgt share
McBride (12-96-0) continues to be a stud. The passing offense
flows through him. He caught every single one of his targets in
Week 13.
Diontae Johnson was active but never saw the field. Something
is going on behind the scenes as they could’ve used him in this
game since Bateman (knee) got injured. Agholor could be someone
to watch moving forward if Diontae isn’t going to play.
TE Mark Andrews: 53 snaps (73.6%), 20.0% tgt share
TE Isaiah Likely: 36 snaps (50.0%), 22.9% tgt share
The Ravens tight ends combined for 15 targets and both scored
a TD. This was likely gameplan specific for the Eagles as they
do a decent job against wideouts.
The Bills used all three RBs, leaning on Cook (14-107-1,
1-13-0) and Davis (11-63-1, 1-4-0) as the game was played in lake
effect snow. Footing was sketchy which favored the RBs. The Bills
ran the ball 38 times.
Josh Allen was the fantasy star in this snow game. He had
a rushing and receiving TD in this game along with 2 passing TDs.
Shakir (4-30-0) led the wideouts with 7 targets as Allen attempted
just 17 passes.
TE Dawson Knox: 28 snaps (48.3%), 11.1% tgt share
TE Quintin Morris: 24 snaps (41.4%), 5.6% tgt share
Dalton Kincaid was Inactive. Knox led the Bills with 56 receiving
yards.
This game went to overtime but it didn’t help Chuba (12-43-0)
who lost a fumble in the extra period and didn’t record a target.
Brooks had 9 touches and we may start to see him on the field
more moving forward.
The Panthers used a tight receiver rotation with Thielen
(8-99-1) leading the team in targets (10). Another encouraging
game from Bryce Young who threw for 298 yards.
TE Tommy Tremble: 70 snaps (100.0%), 19.5% tgt share
Tremble (5-77-0) played every snap with Ja’Tavion Sanders
out. This will likely be one of his best games this season so
don’t chase.
Roschon left with a concussion which allowed Homer to see
the field, though he didn’t touch the ball. The Bears continue
to run a tight rotation at the skill positions. Swift (11-39-0,
2-35-0) handled every RB touch.
The Bears had two first downs in the first half. The passing
game came to life in the 2nd half which was centered around Moore
(8-97-1) and Allen (5-73-2). Moore led the group with a whopping
16 targets, twice as many as Keenan (8).
The Bengals noted last week that they wanted to lighten the
load on Chase Brown (12-70-1, 3-30-0). That amounted to 6 snaps
and 1 touch for Herbert. Brown led all running backs in Week 13
with an 80 percent rush share.
Higgins led the Cinci wideouts with 10 targets, Chase with
9. Both scored TDs and both remain high-end WR options moving
forward, although the Bengals may involve more backups as they
play out the string with no playoff hopes.
TE Drew Sample: 39 snaps (62.9%), 5.4% tgt share
TE Mike Gesicki: 27 snaps (43.5%), 13.5% tgt share
TE Tanner Hudson: 12 snaps (19.4%), 10.8% tgt share
Gesicki caught all five of his targets for 53 yards. He’s
still in TE2 territory as long as Chase and Higgins are healthy.
A big offensive night on Monday to end Week 13 as the Browns
lost to the Broncos 41-32. It was the full Jameis Winston experience
(34/58, 497-4-3, 2 pick 6’s) which left very little for
the Browns running backs. Chubb (11 touches) didn’t play
a lot as Cleveland was trailing most of the game. Ford (10 touches)
was more effective and finished with a 9-41-0, 1-21-0 line.
Cedric Tillman was Inactive. This was the Jerry Jeudy show.
His return to Denver didn’t disappoint. His 9-235-1 line came
on 13 targets and included a 70-yard TD. Moore (14 tgts) also
topped 100 yards. Woods (3-43-0) was called up from the practice
squad and slid right into Tillman’s spot. He’s not worth chasing
on waiver wire unless we get an indication Tillman will miss more
games.
TE David Njoku: 79 snaps (91.9%), 29.8% tgt share
TE Jordan Akins: 20 snaps (23.3%), 1.8% tgt share
Big night for Njoku (9-52-2) who had a whopping 17 targets!
Lamb (6 tgts) spent most of the 2nd half on the sideline
and after seemingly aggravating his shoulder injury. With the
Cowboys in control of the game, he chose to stand on the sidelines.
Cooks (7 tgts) was back on a limited basis. We should see more
of him moving forward.
McLaughlin (14-84-0, 1-0-0) got the hot-hand treatment this
week in Denver’s three-headed RBBC. None of these three are reliable
fantasy assets given their inconsistent usage.
The Broncos routinely used five receivers as they did Monday
night. Zero targets for Lil'Jordan Humphrey. Sutton (6-102-0)
led the group with 9 targets and is the only wideout that is consistent.
Mims broke through for a 93-yard TD.
TE Adam Trautman: 37 snaps (56.1%), 3.2% tgt share
TE Lucas Krull: 22 snaps (33.3%), 9.7% tgt share
The Broncos don’t involve their tight ends in the passing
game very much. The three of them combined for five targets.
Gibbs (9-87-0, 2-17-0) was tearing through the Bears-D in
the first half, then was seemingly punished after a fumble. Montgomery
(21-88-0, 3-36-0) got 24 touches as a result.
23 touches for Jacobs (19-43-1, 4-74-0) who’s been on a role
the last five weeks. Brooks seems to have a slight edge in the
backup RB role but neither have stand-alone value.
Romeo Doubs was Inactive. Watson, Wicks and Reed were the
only wideouts to touch the ball as the Packers condensed their
WR rotation. Reed (3-24-2) led the group with just 6 targets.
TE Tucker Kraft: 49 snaps (90.7%), 25.0% tgt share
TE Ben Sims: 15 snaps (27.8%), 0.0% tgt share
The backup RBs for Houston had 1 touch in this game. Mixon
(20-101-1, 4-18-0) had 24 touches. He led all running backs in
Week 13 with an 80 percent rush share.
This passing game is still underperforming our pre-season
expectations. Stroud has topped 300 yards just twice all season.
That being said, Nico (8-119-0) is a legit WR1.
TE Dalton Schultz: 43 snaps (68.3%), 21.2% tgt share
TE Cade Stover: 37 snaps (58.7%), 3.0% tgt share
TE Irv Smith: 17 snaps (27.0%), 0.0% tgt share
It took 13 weeks but we finally got a game from Schultz (5-61-1).
His 7 targets were second only to Nico (11).
Josh Downs was Inactive. Another inefficient outing for A-Rich,
completing 50 percent of his passes for just 109 yards. Just 2
targets and zero catch Mitchell. Pittman led the group with 7
targets.
Etienne (13-46-0, 3-12-0) was in the lead back role, handling
16 touches while Bigsby (7-28-0, 1-7-0) got 8. This should be
a shared backfield moving forward.
A bad hit on Trevor Lawrence knocked him out of the game
with a concussion. Expect Mac Jones to start next week. Washington
led the wideouts with 12 targets. I don’t expect him to be fantasy
relevant on a consistent basis given the poor play this offense
has exhibited over the course of the season.
TE Evan Engram: 50 snaps (71.4%), 21.4% tgt share
TE Brenton Strange: 29 snaps (41.4%), 4.8% tgt share
TE Luke Farrell: 20 snaps (28.6%), 2.4% tgt share
Engram got 9 targets but finished with an underwhelming 7-41-0
line.
Pacheco (8 touches) returned but was limited. Carson Steele
was the odd man out. The Chiefs abounded the running game in the
2nd half, despite leading most of the game.
Mahomes threw for 300 yards but the Chiefs are spreading
the ball around making ceiling fantasy performances hard to come
by. Hopkins (4-90-0) led the wideouts with 9 targets. Too many
dropped passes and missed throws by Mahomes.
TE Travis Kelce:
64 snaps (90.1%), 28.9% tgt share
TE Noah Gray:
44 snaps (62.0%), 13.3% tgt share
Gray (6 tgts) is in the weekly TE2 conversation. Kelce led
the team with 13 targets but just like most of the Chiefs pass
catchers, committed a couple of bad drops.
Limited play volume here. First game with Dobbins on IR resulted
in Edwards (6-32-0, 1-1-0) and Vidal (4-20-0) working as the RB
tandem. Haskins got only 1 touch.
A disappointing effort from the Chargers offense with just
46 snaps. McConkey (9-117-0) led all wide receivers in Week 13
with a 50 percent target share. McConkey, Johnston and Palmer
were the clear top three wideout options.
TE Will Dissly: 29 snaps (63.0%), 4.2% tgt share
TE Tucker Fisk: 20 snaps (43.5%), 4.2% tgt share
Alexander Mattison and Zamir White were Inactive. The Raiders
were behind most of the game against KC but still found some success
when they did run. Abdullah (10-39-0, 2-14-0) played more snaps
but both RBs had 12 touches.
Aidan O’Connell threw for 340 yards and 2 TDs against KC,
connecting on numerous deep throws. Meyers (6-97-0) led the wideouts
with 11 targets and did most of his damage in the first half.
TE Brock Bowers: 61 snaps (89.7%), 41.2% tgt share
TE Michael Mayer: 43 snaps (63.2%), 5.9% tgt share
Dominant performance from Bowers (10-140-1) who led the team
with 14 targets. He led all tight ends this week with a 41.2%
target share. He’s likely to finish as the overall TE1 this season.
Very few running back carries (12) for Miami as they fell
behind quickly. Achane (7-14-0, 8-56-1) did most of his damage
through the air. Just 1 snap and zero touches for Jaylen Wright
as he was third string behind Mostert (5-19-0, 2-15-0).
The Vikings offense (53 snaps) struggled to move the ball
most of the day but came alive in the 4th quarter. Jefferson (7-99-0)
led the team with 9 targets. He hasn’t scored since Week 7.
Williams (1 touch) will need to carry the ball more moving
forward now that Taysom is Out. Another high-volume game from
Kamara (23-112-0, 4-7-0) who racked up 27 touches.
TE Juwan Johnson: 49 snaps (70.0%), 20.6% tgt share
TE Foster Moreau: 46 snaps (65.7%), 11.8% tgt share
TE Taysom Hill: 41 snaps (58.6%), 20.6% tgt share
Taysom (10 touches) is out for the year with a knee injury
suffered in this game. Juwan Johnson should be features in a bit
more in the passing game moving forward.
Drew Lock got the start at QB and threw for 178 yards. Nabers
(8-69-0) led the team with 13 targets. He’s the only viable fantasy
option given this lame passing offense.
The Jets worked in Davis (1-4-0, 3-28-1) this week who saw
three targets in the passing game. 12 touches for Breece (12-60-0)
seems criminal when you run 68 plays.
Adams (5-66-1) and Wilson (5-41-0) combined for just 10 catches
on 22 targets. This offense continues to produce sub-par fantasy
production. Wilson and Adams should be considered WR2s. More snaps
for Corley this week but just 1 touch.
DeVonta Smith was Inactive. Low play volume for the Eagles
and 32 combined carries for Hurts and Barkley limited the passing
game. Quiet game for Brown against one for the worst pass defenses
in the league.
Goedert had a 3-35-1 line but injured his knee in this game
and is week-to-week. Calc and Uzomah should split time at tight
end but neither will carry much fantasy value.
Huge game for the Steelers offense as the Bengals are dreadful
on defense. Russ threw for 414 yards and 3 TDs. The ball was spread
around to 10 different WRs and TEs. Pickens (3-74-1) led the wideouts
with just 6 targets. Austin left the game with a concussion.
Walker (16-49-0, 2-(-3)-0) has been inefficient on the ground
this year (3.7 ypc) and this week was no different. Just six touches
for Charbonnet but he did find the endzone.
Metcalf led the wideouts with 9 targets and finished with
a 4-66-0 line. He has just 3 TDs on the year. Only 4 targets for
JSN (4-74-0) who is clearly ahead of Lockett (3-16-0).
TE Noah Fant: 43 snaps (67.2%), 13.8% tgt share
TE AJ Barner: 26 snaps (40.6%), 6.9% tgt share
TE Pharaoh Brown: 26 snaps (40.6%), 3.4% tgt share
Fant (3-26-0) returned after a three-game absence but was
part of a TE committee. He’s off the fantasy radar for now.
McCaffrey is likely done for the rest of the season after
suffering a PCL injury in this game. Mason (sprained ankle) is
headed to IR meaning Guerendo is the next man up and should handle
the bulk of RB duties moving forward. Mason was the best weapon
for the 49ers in this game, finishing with a 13-78-0 line.
Playing through lake effect snow limited the passing game
and overall offensive plays in this game. Just 18 pass attempts
and 94 yards from Purdy. Jennings and Deebo both had 5 targets.
Just 1 catch for Kittle as Purdy completed just 11 passes.
Sean Tucker wasn’t used in this game and the Bucs seemed
to hand the lead-back role to Bucky who handled 28 touches. Irving
came out of the game with a hip injury but should be OK. White
had 12 touches and played during the overtime period.
Baker got his Achilles stepped on and will likely miss some
practice this week. Evans (8-118-1) led the wideouts with 12 targets
which was no surprise. McMillan and Shephard are holding down
the other two top receiver spots but are struggling to be fantasy
worthy.
TE Ko Kieft: 9 snaps (11.2%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Cade Otton: 75 snaps (93.8%), 20.6% tgt share
TE Payne Durham: 31 snaps (38.8%), 0.0% tgt share
Otton (4-20-0) had 7 targets along with a bad drop.
The insane TD run continues for NWI. He has now scored 8
TDs in 8 games this season. He led the team with 8 targets but
Levis completed less than half of his passes.
TE Chig
Okonkwo: 36 snaps (65.5%), 16.7% tgt share
TE Josh Whyle: 12 snaps (21.8%), 8.3% tgt share
TE Nick Vannett: 11 snaps (20.0%), 2.8% tgt share
Austin Ekeler is on IR. The Commanders trounced the Titans
and it all started with a 40-yard TD run from Robinson (16-103-1,
1-6-0) in the first quarter. The score allowed both backup RBs
to see significant time and touches. Rodriguez posted a 13-94-1
line.
